Background

What is in it, and above all what is not

Yufka is essentially flour, water and salt. The difference is not in what is missing but in what is not added: no preservative, no egg, no dairy. That is the promise that has been on ensaryufka.com for years and it stays here unchanged.

What does not go in

  • No preservative
  • No egg
  • No dairy

For comparison: a yufka-style wrap from the supermarket shelf easily runs to twelve ingredients with two preservatives. That is the difference, and it can be counted on the label.

What does go in

ensaryufka.com lists flour, oil and salt. Which oil is not stated, and a legal ingredient list has to say so.

To be supplied

From dough to pack

The two videos on this site show the last two steps: folded packs run under the film on the flow wrapper, and sealed packs travel along the white conveyor to the case. No people are in shot; the belt tells the story.

Certifications

The current site uses the words vegan and halal. A certification mark only counts as one with a name and a number under it. As soon as Ensar Food supplies the V-Label licence number and the halal certifier, they will appear here in all five languages. Until then no logo is shown.
